May 12, 2017 at 1:29 pm #26886I’m with you. I’d like to see the seasonal decor and rides bought it’s expensive enough already!
May 12, 2017 at 1:53 pm #26891so Grumpy. :p
May 12, 2017 at 2:31 pm #26910The kids love the Halloween parade, trick or treating in MK and all the halloween stuff. BUT 0 we are a family of 5 now. Although 1 is still free, that’s still 4 tickets. My dad’s military discount is a whopping $20 discount per ticket SO, Steve just can’t justify the cost anymore.
Now, my argument has been that we go for my birthday present in Sept. and it’s not fair that the boys got to go every year and the baby doesn’t! lol SO he hasn’t been able to say no because I give up a “birthday gift” to make the kids happy. But – I think he’s sticking to his guns this year!May 12, 2017 at 2:56 pm #26912Stupid money ruining everything!

Maybe we can start a D-Cot fundraiser so you can keep the birthday tradition alive!!!!!
May 12, 2017 at 4:21 pm #26922i’ve never been to either. i can’t justify the extra cost…i feel like disney is just sticking their hands in all my pockets and looking for loose change.
I had some doubts before I went to MNSSHP, but I think it’s decent. The first time we went it was $85 a ticket, which adds up with a family but for the two of us it was nowhere near as bad as those crazy evening events they had where tickets were $150 each and the event was 3 hours!!! MNSSHP is 7pm-midnight but you can enter the park at 4pm, so when you think about it that way it’s a good deal to me. The parade is so much fun, the fireworks are my absolute favorite best on property, trick or treating and rare characters are a lot of fun too, but best of all EVERYTHING was a walk on! We didn’t wait for a single ride! Each to their own, just wanted to give a mini review of how pleased I was with the event overall. I thought beforehand that I would be one and done.
May 16, 2017 at 2:07 pm #27619When the dates were announced for VMCP I saw conflicting dates on different sites, either starting November 8th or November 9th. I called them and asked what the actual start date was, and the cast member told me November 8th. My wife and I planned out trip off the information of VMCP was happening November 8th. When the tickets came out and it started the 9th I called again to double check and confirmed I was originally given wrong information. We’re leaving on November 9th and it slightly ruined our plans. We had to shuffle things around but it was a big bummer it didn’t all work out.

Bummer! Always check with Disney if you don’t get the info from an official site! Although, in this case, it seems DRC was incorrect. CMs make mistakes too (although not often) but you already know that!

May 17, 2017 at 1:06 pm #27774Wha?? That’s not good! The first parade is a prime time to ride many things with almost no wait.
May 17, 2017 at 1:45 pm #27776I can’t say I am happy about this either. I don’t understand why they would do this?

Chip & Co is a RUMOR site… don’t freak out until it’s OFFICIALLY announced by Disney
May 18, 2017 at 6:49 am #27853See? Disney says it’s OPEN.
Don’t fret until you hear it from the horse’s mouth
