@kcboston Did you ride RnRC in DLP? Was it really that bad?

@starbee It wasn’t great compared to the one in WDW. The preshow was totally different, and didn’t make a ton of sense. The ride itself was shorter and I don’t think it was as good. The wait was about 15 minutes, and I could have ridden it again, but decided not to. Maybe I was expecting more because BTMRR over there is sooooooo much better than the WDW versionFebruary 12, 2018 at 3:24 pm #66267It wasn’t great compared to the one in WDW. Interesting. I’ve never been to the Walt Disney Studios park at DLP. I knew the music was different on their version of RnRC but that’s about all I knew. Now I want to see what the preshow’s like, maybe I can find it on YouTube…
February 12, 2018 at 6:41 pm #66278I can see WDW doing this. They will save on royalties or whatever they pay Aerosmith for the rights…. I can see TOT doing the same thing as in California…. it’s just a matter of time…
February 13, 2018 at 9:47 am #66399@kcboston I see what you mean, that pre-show isn’t really a pre-show at all. No story there. The ride is pretty “meh” too, no story or scenery compared to WDW.
February 13, 2018 at 9:50 am #66401@starbee it was so bizarre! They were talking about building a ride in the preshow, that doesn’t make much sense to me. Why have Aerosmith at all in that case?

So true, in that case I can see and understand why they’re making those changes in Paris. Aerosmith doesn’t have the same appeal there and they’re not even integral to the ride. WDW is different though, it’s way more about them and the ride is fantastic. I hope they leave that one alone!
February 24, 2018 at 10:39 am #67663I truly hope they don’t do this at Hollywood Studios! I love Iron Man but I can’t lose RnRC! Furthermore, I don’t want WDW to become Marvel centric
^^^^ This! ^^^^
March 21, 2018 at 6:40 pm #70413Definitely coming to Florida anytime soon. Not with Universal’s contract, and they definitely wouldn’t be given them any exceptions to make an attraction. Maybe many years down the road, but with all the worldwide Marvel Land announcements made yesterday it seems Florida is in the clear for now. Besides getting GOTG in EPCOT.
April 17, 2018 at 6:45 am #73489I read it as iron maiden for second too, i was confused, if you look at the soundtrack for example to the second film it’s AC DC so still quite fast paced music, could work.
