I ran this morning 1 mile in 14:31 run/walk, not my best by far, but not horrible.
Great job!

Great job!!!! You will keep progressing as you build up your base!
June 6, 2017 at 6:42 pm #31705Apparently the temps forgot to go down overnight last night! I checked my phone at 6:30am while we were getting ready to head out, it was 76*!!! By the time we drove to our running trail, it was 78* and was just after 7am! Our saving grace was a small cloud. I ran quick to take advantage of that hint of shade for as long as possible! I ran 3 miles and paced an 11:36 minute/mile! I made it to the vehicle just as the sun broke through! That’s quick for me! A fast run day is an 11:30, average is close to 12, long runs are around 12:30 minute/miles.

June 7, 2017 at 6:27 am #31743Stopped by a crossfit gym yesterday to talk to them about classes. It’s pricey but hopefully will give me some gains. When I pitched it to the boss last night she was less than thrilled and asked why I couldnt take a class at the y. My single biggest complaint about the Y is that they schedule the majority of the classes during the day when no one who works can attend. So I looked into the Summer schedule for the Y HIIT class, 1 day a week at 5. She seemed to come around after that.
June 7, 2017 at 6:29 am #31744Best of luck! Hope it works out for you!

June 7, 2017 at 7:00 am #31750I haven’t run for awhile but I have been biking to work. I do appreciate the strong legs that running gave me! The next training group starts on June 21st – I’ll have to join because I know it doesn’t happen without the group!
