@rocketear99 that is pretty cool looking! Even without the medals, the design is awesome!

I wish someone could have gotten video of me running in the wind. Twice it pushed me back so hard it stopped me mid stride and then pushed me over to the side
    Lol
Then once it was blowing so strongly from behind I had to lean back into it so I wouldn’t fall forward. It was pushing me faster that I was running
    :P
It would have made for some great video

Had to draw on my HS track days hurdling fallen branches. Thankfully none fell while I was out there :smirk:

@starbee It’s made by Allied Medal Hangers. It’s one of various “Magic World” medal hangers they sell. Different designs and sizes. Christy found it on Etsy :)

    Hi

Since being quarantined, I’ve run at least 1 mile every day. My mileage definitely isn’t where it normally is (I think I’m running 3 miles maybe 2 or 3 times a week, otherwise its just 1 mile) HOWEVER, my pace is coming back down, and that’s something I’m proud of.

My heart goes out to all of you who planned to be gearing up for the Star Wars run events at WDW this weekend :( @eeyorepoohfan @breesmommy5 @nascfan and any others I missed. It’s bad enough to have a Disney trip cancelled, but worse when one is cancelled that you trained for. Sending you all virtual hugs today  Love you, Pals!!! God willing we’ll see each other for the Star Wars runs next year!

Fortunately this time I wasn’t going to be there. But we do plan on Wine & Dine so I sure hope they have a plan before then! And I really truly hope and pray we can all make Star Wars next year!

@rocketear99 Thank you so much!!! And once they cancelled our race, I lost all motivation to run and train. I appreciate the hugs! I truly need them today! Praying we get to see you next year too!!!

    @eeyorepoohfan MEEEEE TOOOOO!
I’ve lost all motivation to run and workout. I had a half cancelled for next weekend, and that was a bummer, but really this entire stay-at-home thing is wearing me down. It’s funny cause at first running during this time was a release. Now I completely force myself to get out there, and many times I skip it. And when I am running, I have no motivation to push myself.
The weather isn’t helping either. We continue to have damp, cloudy raw days. Every once in a while there will be sun, but when there is, its windy and cold. It’s like life is miserable, running is miserable, exercising is miserable, and the weather is miserable
    :P :P :P :P :P
I need a warm, sunny beach. With no people. Allllll to myself!

For everyone looking ahead to Disney race events, may the gods smile upon you all and my your event go off without a hitch!

Well I don’t have to worry about running and exercising in this miserable weather anymore. I clearly, in my professional gym teacher opinion, :P :P have another stress fracture in my leg. I barely squeezed out 2 miles today. Every step hurt. Honestly my leg has been bothering me a bit lately, but it has always worked itself out during my runs. Not today. I’m hurting.
So I’m going to rest for a couple weeks and see how it goes from there. Doc had me rest for three weeks last time I had a stress fracture, but that’s soooooooooo long without doing anything! I’m hoping I caught it early enough so the two week rest will be sufficient
    🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Oh @missingwdw I’m so sorry! :( That is devastating! I hope and pray it might be something else that will heal quickly.

@missingWDW That SUCKS! I’m so sorry :( but at least you’re not missing any nice weather or other activities I guess. Definitely rest so it doesn’t get worse. I would probably stick with 3 weeks but I know it sucks. When I had stress fractures I tried to push through and almost ended up in a walking boot

@missingWDW Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear about the suspected stress fracture. I would advise to err on the side of caution and take off longer from running. You definitely don’t want to jump back into it too quickly and make it worse.
