Tuesday 24 March
After a cold and wet Monday, I was able to get out for a sunny and warmer Tuesday run. My muscles were aching before the run because of the farm work I had done on Sunday, so I took it slow.
Distance: 3.11 miles
Time: 0:41:48
Pace: 13’26″/mileMarch 25, 2020 at 10:24 am #127627Hang in there @missingwdw! It’s so hard for someone so used to moving! You can do this!
Great job @rocketear99! Nothing wrong with a little slower pace, you got it done!March 26, 2020 at 7:43 am #127732Started back jogging with my neighbor in the early morns, still maintaining the 6 ft min. Tuesday’s run was horrible, today was much better.

March 26, 2020 at 7:52 am #127734@10dedfish 5am early run? That’s late for you!
I’m heading out now. Ate so horribly yesterday, so I’m expecting this one to not go so well. I have to start preparing my lunch in the morning like it’s a regular work day, and only eat what I “pack” during the day. This working from home 3’ away from the kitchen isn’t working well for me at all.
Congrats on the run this morningMarch 26, 2020 at 7:57 am #127735I took it later than normal, mostly because I still have to go to work (defense contractors are essential personnel) and I dont wont to get here early.
MattMarch 30, 2020 at 1:51 am #128017Holy moly I had a great run this morning! Well, make that yesterday morning since it’s almost 2am right now as I write this!
Stupid sinus headache keeping me awake. Again.
Anyway, my run yesterday felt so gosh darn good. I’m not really sure where it came from, since I’ve been struggling so much lately, but I ended up running 6, pacing 9:58/mile
Hey…2 seconds under 10, I’ll take it!
Ha!
I did end up walking a bit, and stopping to chat with a neighbor for a few minutes, so all things considered, I was happy with my time.
I was supposed to be running my half at the end of April, but obviously that’s not happening. It’s been rescheduled for November. Hopefully it will go off then without a hitch!
HOPE EVERYONE STAYS HEALTHY
March 30, 2020 at 6:41 am #128021Wow! Great job @missingWDW! That is so awesome! I’m sorry about your half, I hope it goes in November.
April 2, 2020 at 3:43 pm #128316I was so consistent with my running until my gym closed. And then I moved. But I’m in an amazing neighborhood now that’s not too far from a huge running/biking/walking path so I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.
I’ve joked for a long time that every time I start training for a half marathon something bad happens. One time I broke my ankle, one time I suffered horrible insomnia 6 weeks into training, and now this time… well… I really want to run a half in August but I feel like fate is trying to give me a message
April 3, 2020 at 6:26 am #128340Got a run in yesterday morning, first time my pace was back in the 10 min range. Something like 10:45, about 45 seconds better than my last run.
April 3, 2020 at 8:41 am #128345Awesome job @10dedfish!
April 10, 2020 at 10:18 am #128861I can’t sit still. Can’t concentrate. Going out for a run to get my act together.
14mph winds here with 30 mph gusts. Should be fun
If I can get through 4 miles I’ll be content.
Wish me luck!
April 10, 2020 at 12:35 pm #128874Oh my goodness @missingWDW You’re brave!
April 10, 2020 at 12:36 pm #128876April 10, 2020 at 12:59 pm #128878I still haven’t ran since Dopey I planned on a short break but the weather kept being crap and I had no motivation
@rocketear99 Oh my gosh that’s so amazing!!!! where did you get it? Or did you make it? I bought a shadow box for mine, it arrived last week, I just need to assemble it -
