I’ll let you know how we like it! I’m looking forward to it, if nothing else, for the atmosphere
I’d be interested to hear your review!
February 22, 2017 at 3:48 pm #14814@kcboston The atmosphere shouldn’t disappoint. Our server was excellent. His Jungle Cruise brand of humor was off the following: the hook, the chain, the map, the grid, and the wagon.
February 23, 2017 at 9:08 am #14877Ok our next trip is booked! We were originally going to go the second week of December. But having to pull the kids out of school for an entire week was a bit much. So we were able to move the trip up to the begining of November and include a Run Disney event into our trip. Kids will only be missing 2 days of school now and I get to train for a half marathon. This will also be our first trip in about 8 years not staying at a DVC resort. Because of the F&W event and the running events all rooms are scarce this week! Bummer but im sure we will waitlist something. We are booked at Pop Century from 11/1 – 11/7. I would love to meet some of you some day. Are any of you planning on being at the world that week?

We’ll just miss you by a few days.
We leave 10/29.
February 23, 2017 at 12:36 pm #14958@bexruns – slowing down is the best, even on short trips. My wife and I did that on a July trip to WDW and as a result still say it was one of our better trips together…in July mind you, which is HOT in Florida.
It will be just my mom and I this time (her first runDisney event!) so we don’t really have to worry about what anyone else wants to do. She’s so easy going and will just do whatever I want to do. Her only request is Indiana Jones. I think I can manage that
February 24, 2017 at 10:19 pm #15175On my next trip I want to stay at the Wilderness Lodge.
February 24, 2017 at 11:55 pm #15183On my next trip (without the kids) I plan to do the keys to the kingdom tour
On my next trip with kids I plan to finally see country bear jamboree (I know @starbee, it’s about time!)February 25, 2017 at 6:41 am #15190On my next trip (without the kids) I plan to do the keys to the kingdom tour

You are going to enjoy Keys so much!February 25, 2017 at 9:38 am #15208On my next trip with kids I plan to finally see country bear jamboree (I know @starbee, it’s about time!)
Darn tootin’!
I hope you like it! I think it’s fun and silly, and I’m country so I guess it appeals more to me. Also, you won’t lament the missing banter segments like I do because you won’t know any different
March 6, 2017 at 2:31 pm #16369On my next trip I’m going to:
– See Rivers of Lights (already have my FP+ for it)
– See the new Welcome Show at MK
– Give the Skipper Canteen a try
– Have Cammie do something new (Wonderland Tea Party)
– Have a beer and watch the British Revolution while Cammie runs like a maniac through the hedge maze
– See Wishes for the last time
– See Yehaa Bob
– Stay at POFQ for the first timeI couldn’t quite remember all the items I listed in this thread, but now that “my next trip” is over, I have to say
The only thing I didn’t do it watch the British Revolution with a beer in hand, we watched the British Revolution, and Cammie predictably ran around the hedge maze like a maniac, but there were no beers in hand. We saw them after our dinner at Beaches and Cream, where we attempted the Kitchen Sink, so there was no more real estate left in our tummies!
March 6, 2017 at 2:36 pm #16371@kcboston – Congratulations! Ah yes, the Kitchen Sink…I hear it’s topped with a WHOLE CAN of whipped cream!
How’d you like the Skipper’s Canteen?
March 6, 2017 at 4:05 pm #16387Nice job with getting most of your stuff accomplished!

I take it the Kitchen Sink didn’t go well?

We were all happy we did it, but agreed that we will probably never do it again! I’ll take a No Way Jose over that any day of the week!
