November 4-10, 2020 Day 2

@Disneydana Right?! There’s something about the TTC that just makes me want to skip it! We pretty much always request several extra blankets for our room! I hate that nearly all hotels do a basic sheet and thin top cover! We sleep with weighted blankets at home! So it’s a real struggle to not have them when we travel.

@warrsm As of that trip they were not running busses from the parks directly to DS. I honestly don’t know if they have changed that or not. Prior to Covid it only ran after 4pm. Since parks close earlier now, I’m thinking that’s why they didn’t offer it? But we would have to check signs to see if they are available now. But if not, just get to the nearest resort and then bus to DS. Saratoga is the easiest way since you can walk it! Thank you! I love our shirts too!

@nascfan It was such a low crowd day! I loved your picnic table spot! It was just perfect! I loved seeing the characters at the train station!!

@sej101 It really was a fantastic first day! Crowds were nice and low! We love the new security too!! Hold your camera, phone and other metal objects out in front of you when you want through security! You usually won’t ping that way! Or have less chance of it. We were surprised there were no direct buses to DS too. I’m not positive but I don’t think they are running them still. At least not that we saw on the bus board. It was nice to see you that evening too! Time always flies! Aw! Thank you!! Yep! They had it drained for a month or so, if I remember correctly. The sea monsters are on the ceiling in the Little Mermaid ride queue. We went to the extra circle queue portion. We’ve never been in that room before. But it’s the ceiling in that room! My guess is you probably needed to clean off your lense on your phone! Mine get blurry when I don’t. But our memories are fantastic!

Oh man! That stinks! It really would make sense to have direct DS buses since parks tend to close early. I did hear that they do have them but they don’t always update the bus board to reflect the bus stop for it. People have stated you can ask the bus person but there wasn’t anyone there when we needed them. And truly it is pretty easy and quick to take a bus to Saratoga Springs and then watch the app to make sure we are at the correct bus stop to be closest to walk to DS. I think it’s the 3rd or 4th stop. It’s a quick walk from there. I think that’s the only time we’ve ever been in that extended queue area! It was a fun surprise! Oh goodness! That was definitely an old camera then! I’m glad your new phone is better!

We used to see bus people out throughout the day to help direct people. Especially in the afternoons and evenings. But hardly saw anyone on these trips. But you not using the buses likely has something to do with you not seeing them! Yep! I was thankful that that was suggested to us on going to Saratoga and walking!
