meh…I don’t know if I like this. I’m one of those people that actually HATES that Disney is pretty much making it a necessity to bring your phone into the parks. I’ve always been one that liked to be phone free while in the bubble. I get irked when I see people with their noses in their phones instead of communicating with the people they are with. I’ll never forget sitting in CoP and looking down my row and every single person was on their phone during the entire show. Why even go to Disney?
Ugh, you and me both!! If I had a nickel for every person that had their noses buried in their phones,(at the World) I would be a bazzionaire. I only keep my phone on me for emergency purpose “whilst on holiday”

I agree with the both of you! I use mine to organize FastPasses and dining, but that’s it. It breaks my heart how many people are walking with their faces towards their phones completely oblivious to the sights and sounds of everything around them. It’s especially poignant in a place like Disney World or Disneyland. My favorite is the adult who pushes a stroller with a little with one hand while furiously typing or texting with the other. It makes me sad that they don’t look up to make sure their little is safe and free from accidental collisions. They make it everone else’s responsibility to keep their child safe. Sad.
Back on topic though, I am curious to see if the pre-ordering will save me time or just switch the wait to another line. I usually travel alone or in a pair (or trio), so I think this may get me more time playing and less time waiting for my food!
September 19, 2017 at 2:37 pm #49388@bexruns, this is in WDW but look how fast you can get a now! Literally seconds! This is so dangerous!
September 19, 2017 at 3:07 pm #49390I have to watch that clip later (not alone in the office right now) :p
@acamm have you tried the mobile ordering? Or it wasn’t available with free dining?
@eeyorepoohfan will you try it on your trip?September 19, 2017 at 3:19 pm #49391@StupidJudy No, I did not use it. I was on the Disney Dining Plan, and it was not available for us unless we used cash.
September 19, 2017 at 4:56 pm #49405I’m on the fence if I will use it or not! I wonder if I can link it to my gift card? That’s pretty much how we pay for everything. But it looks like it saves a good bit of time!
