I But that does not excuse the litter found in queues for example. They always have a trash can before you get on a ride with a CM nearby checking to make sure nobody is going on rides with food or drinks that aren’t bottles so there is no excuse to just leave it in the queue.
Agreed. I can’t think of an excuse for that one! That’s just being a pig.
July 6, 2017 at 10:22 am #37067While I’ve never personally seen anyone leaving a mess or throwing trash on the ground (I mean “catching someone in the act” of these things) I have seen these things after the fact and it drives me crazy. Also, as was already mentioned-the phones/ipads being held up during parades/shows. Sure, I’m guilty of taking a photo or two during these, but I don’t leave my phone up blocking peoples views for an extended period of time. It seems like people aren’t aware of their surroundings anymore and we are in a world of total and complete selfishness.
I see this with little kids all the time in theme parks (if we’re friends on social media, you know this year I’ve been to Disneyland a few times and Universal and Knotts Berry Farm as well) and their parents just don’t seem to care. :'(July 6, 2017 at 10:32 am #37071@bexruns, ipads in parks are so obnoxious! They really should ban those like they did selfie sticks!
Another thing that irks me, personally I never want to bother anyone, if I need to check a map or my MDE app I always go stand someplace out of the way so I don’t block traffic, SO MANY people just stop walking right there in the middle causing bottlenecks, hello people, can you pull over to the side if you’re going to have a family meeting? I swear the world revolves around so many guests at WDW.
Same if I want to take a picture where i could block someone’s view, I do it quickly, if I want to film something, I hold my phone as to not block any other guests. I try not to film too much anyway since I end up watching the screen instead of the real life thing happening in front of me

Welcome to today’s generation. Really sad to see

July 6, 2017 at 11:26 am #37084@StupidJudy, yes! I am a jerk though when I see that. My go to is “Oh yes, you are bringing up the rear of this crowd right now. There’s absolutely NO ONE behind you!”.
I realize it’s rude of me to say something like that, but I feel like these people need to be knocked back to reality.
July 6, 2017 at 12:26 pm #37114I once saw an empty water bottle sitting on TOP of a trash can. Are people so lazy they can’t put it inside the trash can? Cast Members do an excellent job keeping the parks clean but people need to meet them halfway and clean up after themselves.
July 6, 2017 at 12:26 pm #37115@bexruns, you just reminded me of one time at Food and Wine, just before the fireworks, people are scrambling to get good viewing spots and a girl bumps into me, INTO ME, and she says hey you spilled my beer, watch it! I lost my French right then and there. The Canadian got real angry and told her to &$?$ off, my friends were stunned and amused, the quiet nice Canadian girl lost it, don’t spill beer on me I am like a Gremlin

Perhaps they thought someone might throw it in the proper recycling bin?

July 6, 2017 at 12:30 pm #37120One time I saw someone flip a water bottle on top of the luggage scanner in the Star Tours queue. It didn’t land, but it got stuck on top of it.
July 6, 2017 at 12:32 pm #37124@StupidJudy I think you win the day!

Did they “dab” afterwards?
