Lantern Photopass at Tangled Bathrooms extended

Many of you saw kcboston’s photo of her daughter holding a lantern at the Tangled bathrooms on her most recent trip and several of you expressed interest in it, including @warrsm and @starbee to name just a couple I saw in the comments. Well, it was scheduled to end this week but has been extended! The bad news is word is out and it is so popular that waits exceeding an hour and a half are common.

I hope more D-Cotters will have the opportunity to do this and post their pictures! It looks amazing.
I am so excited about this! Hopefully the waits go down now that people know it’s being extended, but since it’s only a nighttime opportunity, I can see why the waits are long. What we did was get in line at the end of the night, my husband was literally the last person they let in line. Then we weren’t technically wasting any park time waiting for this

I hope extended means for longer than a few weeks. I read in the AllEars article that it said “until further notice” but knowing Disney they could turn around a month from now and ax it. I hope the fact that it’s so popular means they keep it around as a permanent offering. I would wait for half an hour, those pics are incredible and to me, that’s just like if you waited for a character meet and greet. Now waiting for an hour and 45 minutes like the author of that article did – I would try to come back later. But it seems like the wait was only that long for her because everyone thought that would be the last night to do it, in which case, I probably would have done the same. Very happy to hear they’ve extended it
I’m hoping it will still be there when we visit in October! Oh that’s awesome, I will check out AllEars and see. I am not sure I can gt my whole party to wait that long
but I might get my sis to try….nothing wrong with a couple 40-somethings trying to get an awesome picture 
will be sure to share if we do! There on a Saturday and Sunday (not this weekend but next) so we shall see Thanks for the head’s up!!
