I don’t think this thread made it over from the old boards, and since we had a lot of new people who’ve joined the fun, I thought I’d start it back up again!
Name: Kelly
Originally from: Watertown, MA (just outside of Boston)
Now live in: Charlotte, NC
Favorite Park: Epcot
Favorite Ride: Tower of TerrorWe took our first trip as a family in December 2013 and were hooked! I love eating and drinking my way around the world, a perfect night to be is having a grapefruit beer in one hand, a bag of caramel corn in the other, and listening to the Illuminations pre-show music, waiting for the fireworks to start. In my free time (when I’m not planning a trip or hanging out here), I like to read, do crafty things, and cheer for my Boston sports teams (Go Pats!)
This is me and the enabler in our favorite park
Mom to one Disney obsessed little lady, Cameron, age 6
Mom to two spoiled rotten pups, my two beagles. Sasha, 13 years old
And Lucy, almost 4 year old (have you ever seen a more spoiled bunch of dogs?)

From: stamford CT
Live: in Trumbull CT
Occupation: Firefighter
Age: 38 (I’m a cancer)We are a hockey family. Our 2 kids Kylie(8) and Carson (7) both play hockey like thier parents and love it. Our kids are 10 months and 2 weeks apart and are like besties. I’ve been fortunate to be going to WDW since I was 4. First trip was1982 and there’s been countless trips since. Our first Trip as parents was in 2008 when we purchased our DVC membership at the BLT. And funny enough we told our parents on that trip with our infant daughter that we were pregnant again! We try to get to the world every year. We have doggies Copper the beagle and Misty the white fur ball. Both are about 10 years old. Thats me in a nut shell!
January 18, 2017 at 1:59 pm #7894Name: Justin
Nickname: Jet (because there are too many other Justins out there and my initials are J.E.T.)
Originally From: Perryville, MD (45 min drive East of Baltimore if you don’t feel like looking it up)
Now live in: Conowingo, MD (15 min drive North of Perryville)
Favorite Park: Magic Kingdom (I know, so cliche )
Favorite Ride: Splash MountainMy first trip was when I was 6 years old. Animal Kingdom wasn’t built yet and the Tower of Terror was under construction. I got hooked when my parents bought into DVC in 2008 and wanted to add me to their contract. I was a little resistant to the idea, but on our first trip as DVC members in 2009, I was hooked before the first day ended having been caught up in the splendor of a 2 Bedroom Villa at Saratoga Springs and the wonder of a night at Magic Kingdom. A perfect day at the World usually involves taking a seat for a few minutes to enjoy the atmosphere at night of whatever park I’m in with a Mickey Premium or Dole Whip in hand. Outside of all things Disney, I love to work on things around the house and do woodwork, play Minecraft, watch movies, camp out, and walk around outside.
In 2013, I proposed to my girlfriend of 3 months and she said yes. We celebrated our engagement with our first trip together at Walt Disney World the day after I proposed. We got married in 2014, just 7 months after we got engaged. I’ve thus far been to the World 16 times total.
This is me and my wife out on a hike in the mountains of Pennsylvania:

Married my high school sweet heart, been 25 years now. She works at ESPN, which the Mouse owns and makes her a cast member. So we frequent the World whenever we can. Luckily for us, Southwest has cheap fares and flys nonstop to Orlando. 2.5 hours in the air and we go from bitter cold to nice and toasty weather of Florida.https://www.d-cot.com/wp-content/uploads/IMG_01231-150×150.jpg
