Currently GotG has a 165 minute wait and RSR has a 150 min wait.
for once, Disneyland actually looks like the less busy park while DCA looks like the wait times are pretty long.

Still too long for me to consider getting in that line. The few times I got to visit DL I found it to be always pretty busy, even during the week, California Screamin’ (my fave!) was worth waiting for.

That’s interesting and I never knew that DCA is usually less busy than DL!! I really am dreading learning everything from scratch when we start to plan our trip there :| I may hire you to be my personal Yoda.
June 1, 2017 at 9:18 am #30376@eeyorepoohfan can chime in here too but when DL is busy it’s bad. There are so many bottlenecks that even it it’s not near capacity it seems like it because there’s nowhere to go!
DCA can get really busy but it’s a bit more open so it doesn’t seem as bad. DL is also more little kid friendly than DCA as DCA has more of the thrill rides, IMO.June 1, 2017 at 10:50 am #30432Currently GotG has a 165 minute wait and RSR has a 150 min wait.

I agree!!!! DL pretty much always feels crowded now! Even when they aren’t near capacity! When they are at capacity, forget about it!!! You can hardly move! DL has very narrow walkways so they will get congested very quickly, especially in certain areas like Adventureland! DCA never feels quite as crowded since there is a lot more space between attractions and much wider walkways. There are fewer attractions at DCA than at DL. So even if DL is crowded, you have more potential of seeing/doing a lot more things in a given day. Weekdays are MUCH LESS crowded in general. However, it will still feel busy. The footprint of DL is so small compared to Magic Kingdom. They crammed a lot in a small space! DCA has better food option, IMO. But we’ve found some gems in DL as well.
June 1, 2017 at 4:10 pm #30591For those playing along, GotG has a 120 min wait currently and RSR has 95. This will probably be the norm for the next few months.
June 1, 2017 at 6:32 pm #30608Wow! 5 hr wait?! Don’t blame you on waiting for a later date! Not to hijack but was at Animal Kingdom this weekend and there was an Hour long queue just to get INTO Pandora…. needless to say we went in later in the day.
I remember when the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was like that at Universal with that though, everyone seemed to be gone about an hour before park closing I doubt the same occurred at Pandora
Yes, the queue to get into the land was no more and we did walk around comfortably throughout the land….. didnt bother to get into either queues as the length of time was too great and we plan on a visit later this year…
August 2, 2017 at 10:21 am #42387You know how the Yeti breaks down (well, BROKE down) at Expedition Everest?
The folks at Disneyland thought of that, in case Rocket broke down at the beginning, so…they had a back-up plan.
