Alright this is my first time going without a car so I need my groceries delivered to BLT. Anyone have some suggestions of who to use?
November 21, 2019 at 7:54 pm #120960The last trip I used prime now to have groceries delivered. Put order in and it was delivered 2 hours later.
Worked well for us
November 21, 2019 at 10:45 pm #120969@missingWDW What’s prime now?
November 21, 2019 at 11:35 pm #120971I say Garden Grocer is recommended to guests if they can’t head to Publix.

Most D-Cotters who have groceries delivered seem to go with Garden Grocer

Is that water + shipping charges? I’ve never used them but I’ve heard people talk about discounts for ordering early
November 22, 2019 at 3:13 pm #121003i just looked at their website and that was the price. I am hoping to get through amazon prime cuz it is $5 for a 24 pack.

November 23, 2019 at 3:15 pm #121008@missingWDW What’s prime now?
Sorry!
It’s through amazon
Prime Now is a free service to Prime members. You can get free two-hour deliveries as long as you meet the $35 minimum purchase. If you want your stuff delivered in one hour or if you want just a few items, you’ll be charged a fee. One-hour deliveries cost $8.I have also had non perishable things delivered using Walmart and amazon. Like water, seltzer, cereals and snacks. But last trip I wanted fruits and veggies too so I used amazon prime now.
Price compare them and garden grocer for the things you’re looking for. It was cheaper to go prime now for me.
PS they also deliver beer.
Just sayin
November 23, 2019 at 3:23 pm #121009And on a side note, although I know people who have used amazon and Walmart to have things delivered ahead of time to the resorts without issue, it has been a bit of a hassle for me each time. The CM’s always seem to have an issue finding my packages. Prime now was awesome. 2 hours and boom! I had a CM bringing it to my room.
I’d definitely use them againNovember 24, 2019 at 1:23 pm #121025@missingWDW thanks for the info…we are PRIME members but i’m not sure where the “Prime Now” is…i’ll investigate further. Honestly the night we check in it would be a great time for it to get delivered cuz we will probably just hang out and get to know the resort…we aren’t gonna waste a park ticket on a few hours!
we only eat in breakfast so just milk, juice, toast, fruit and a couple 24 packs of water bottles (there are 5 of us). i think i can get over $35
should i call bay lake ahead of time and check with them?

Download the app for prime now. You search by zip code on the app to shop. Last time I used 32830
Then put in resort address for delivery. I googled it.
You can’t call any resort directly. After I checked in I placed the order and I think I called front desk to tell them I had a delivery coming in a couple hours.
From what I remember they sent me text messages when the delivery went out and all.
Super easy
