Favorite Sounds from Disneyworld or Land!
Are there magical sounds that make you smile from ear to ear while at the world?
The sound of the train whistle and bell ringing at crossings.
I used to love the sound of the turnstiles as you enter the park.
February 13, 2017 at 6:59 pm #13279When I’m at Disneyland, I love the turnstile whistle! I have it for my text alert sound! But I also love the music near the Alice in Wonderland Ride and Teacups! For me, when I hear that music, I know I’m at Disneyland!!!
When I’m at WDW, hearing “welcome home” at my resort makes me smile for sure! It may be silly, but I also like to hear the bus spiels as you are leaving or approaching a park! They tend to give you little tidbits of fun info!

For me, it is the Railroad announcer. When you first get there and a train is in the station and you hear,
Now Boarding……. Allllllllll Aboaarrrrrrrrdddd!

February 13, 2017 at 11:10 pm #13308I love the sounds of mainstreet when you walk in.
The background music, the guests getting excited when they first see the castle, my family talking about how happy they are to be back and the silence i hear as i realize i am home.
February 14, 2017 at 8:42 am #13338I have to concur with everyones comments so far. The BGM around the park, the dapper dans, the train sounds (mostly that whistle) the sound of the TTA going by or just random screams coming from Splash or Thunder mountains! The Sound of the monrail going by over head or a friendly CM saying good morning or welcome home. Different parks have very different distinctive sounds that just resonate with me. And those smells!!!!!
February 14, 2017 at 8:58 am #13347Yes I love the sound of the monorail flying overhead especially at EPCOT.
The sound of the monorail doors opening.February 14, 2017 at 10:20 pm #13539My favorite sounds from Disney world is the Liberty Belle River Boat that i can actually hear the whistle from Reams Rd,
plus the fireworks from the distance.February 15, 2017 at 8:46 am #13557Everyone I talk to has that one connection, that almost subliminal connection that most people who do the parks miss. Those little details. I actually feel sorry for them

What do you mean? Meaning some people don’t “get it”?
February 15, 2017 at 4:30 pm #13719Yes ! The monorail for sure !
The screams from the rides also, I always smile when we are around the tower of terror or splash mountain !
I also love hearing the music while we are waiting in line, like for splash mountain,February 15, 2017 at 5:21 pm #13725Everyone I talk to has that one connection, that almost subliminal connection that most people who do the parks miss. Those little details. I actually feel sorry for them

Yep, that is exactly what I mean. People do the parks everyday and miss so much because they just think its rides.
February 15, 2017 at 5:27 pm #13727I agree, I forgot that when we take the boat from magic kingdom to the grand Floridian just listening to the water and the boat sounds are so relaxing !
February 16, 2017 at 6:56 pm #14058Either the tone monorails make when the doors open, the deafening noise of the Grand Canyon Concourse, or the peaceful sounds of the Polynesian walkways.
