My son and I were talking about this yesterday, and he’s devastated. He may be the only person alive, well besides @stupidjudy , who loves Ellen’s Energy Adventure. I am not sure what they plan to build there, but the area looks really big! I hope that its something Science-y so that it will stick with the themeing and original intent of Future World!
May 22, 2017 at 11:46 am #28392I don’t suppose they’re making anything. They could just be putting in a solar array or expanding CM or guest parking or anything. I’ll wait until something concrete (no pun intended) is announced.

On another website, there are rumors of a Guardians of the Galaxy themed attraction. I’m hoping this is not accurate.

That rumor has been circulating for a while. I’m not sure how likely it is because I don’t know the ins and outs of Universal and Marvel’s agreement, but I know they have the exclulsive theme park rights to Marvel in Florida.
May 22, 2017 at 11:58 am #28397I love EEE too, @acamm! @StupidJudy — I stand in solidarity with you!

I will say that on a hot day in EPCOT, EEE is the best place to be for SURE!

There’s rumors galore circulating right now. Don’t worry until something actually happens or is officially announced.
May 22, 2017 at 1:46 pm #28422I love EEE and frankly, there have been so many rumors about it since the fall that it doesn’t phase me. We do EEE every trip because we need to fill in time before our next Fastpass. People keep jumping to conclusions and as long as something with ACTUAL quality, like EEE, AND secretly educational replaces EEE, I’ll take it.
May 22, 2017 at 3:41 pm #28498Are there any plans for the Innoventions areas that lost so many exhibits?

I don’t think anything has been officially announced, which is my bug bear with them keep closing things for seemingly no reason.
May 22, 2017 at 3:51 pm #28516For the record, I also like Ellen’s Energy Adventure and it’s still funny
May 23, 2017 at 7:38 am #28576Thank you friends!
I know Ellen’s Energy Adventure is old and long, and slow, and dusty and outdated but it’s one of the (almost) classic Epcot rides from the 80s that’s left, I am sure they will replace it with something awesome (fingers crossed) but I will sure miss the old Epcot vibe it has if it goes away.
May 23, 2017 at 7:42 am #28577I’ll admit, I visit EEA probably once every 3 or 4 trips, but I’ve always found it entertaining (especially the Jeopardy scenes!).
May 24, 2017 at 9:26 am #29015EEA is one of my families favorites! It will be missed but excited to see what they have planned for its spot.
