But I’m so glad you’ve seen the light! So much rain at HS! Deep puddles and our shoes were soaked through within minutes! The expo was exciting and huge!I’ve seen the light! It’s just one of the things you’ve opened up to me and I’m so grateful for all you’ve taught me!

Absolutely! Not many people were willing to have to swim on the streets in Hollywood Studios!!

I am SO glad I read this! I was thinking we could arrive Wednesday, as long as we had time to swing by the Expo. Now I’m thinking we would need to get there on Tuesday like y’all did.Didn’t finish reading the thread before I started commenting
I’m glad Teri is doing better! I can tell y’all are sisters! that really sucks about flippers getting merch! I agree with you, I wish Disney would do more to combat flipping. Do you know if there are quantity limits at least? Can you post pics of your merch or have you done that already in a later thread? HS was so cold and wet! Crowds were low though!
I definitely recommend arriving on Tuesday! Specifically because it’s winter and you can’t control the weather! If there any weather issues, you have a bit more wiggle room if you travel on Tuesday. Marathon Weekend Expo is more time consuming because there are more races and runners. We were there for like 7 hours! Keep in mind it was the 5th anniversary for Dopey and theMarathon’s 25th anniversary. So there were a lot more participants than usual. When we do Star Wars, we can do everything at the Expo and leave within a couple hours!
Teri is still dealing with the after effects from the accident but is doing much better! We totally look like sisters, don’t we?! I truly wish Disney would put limits on merch, but they don’t! I think the Dooney purses are the only item with 5 per person person style limit. All other items have no restrictions! So it’s very frustrating! I’m thankful we got everything we wanted though! By the time we left the expo, much of the Dopey merch was gone! I don’t think I posted pics of merch! I think it took pics! I will post them in this thread!Here are pics of some of the Dopey Merchandise! They change the designs every year.
Here are the shirts we received included in our registration. The 5k is a unisex t-shirt. All others are long sleeve tech tops. The cool thing on the long sleeve shirts is that it has the park icon for each park we ran through for that race!
That makes me feel better about the Expo! That’s a good point, we will look at traveling on Tuesday instead. I’m learning a lot here already!
