Woke up at 11pm to James logging in on our Roku Scrolled through the content and decided not to watch anything because if we started, neither one of us would sleep
That’s why I didn’t touch it this morning – I knew if I did I’d be late for work!
November 12, 2019 at 2:00 pm #120570Just watched S1E1 of the Mandalorian at work on lunch. *tries to contain excitement*

November 12, 2019 at 2:34 pm #120574Question for those who are used to streaming (this is our first experience at it). How long do you think they’ll leave the Mandalorian episode(s) up and available? Our weekday evenings are just way to busy and frankly the weekends aren’t much better, do you think we’d be able to let a few accumulate and watch them at once? Or will each previous go away with each new episode?

I think that’s a very valid question. My only experience with streaming has been Netflix and Hulu. Both leave their episodes up indefinitely however sometimes Netflix periodically removes movies. You never really know when that will happen but if you add something to your list, it will tell you the date it’s going to expire, usually a week or two ahead of time. I’m not sure why but I can only imagine it’s due to licensing. Since Disney owns The Mandalorian outright, I would think they’ll leave it indefinitely also. I haven’t explored Disney+ yet, does it saying anything about “Available until…” next to shows/episodes?
November 12, 2019 at 2:56 pm #120576Oh I don’t know, I’ll look for that. Thanks for that!

Just a thought. That’s what Netflix will say if something on my list is getting taken off. It will say “Available until 11/12/19”

it was sooooo good!!! why do we have to wait to Friday for the next one?? Tempted to do like @nascfan and let a few accumulate to watch in a row, but I know my hubby will never go for that. Plus I prob can’t hold out either. i was quite impressed!

It was! To be honest I’m glad they’re not releasing the whole season at once. Not everyone can binge immediately when new seasons drop and then it’s hard to avoid spoilers. At least this week we get 2 episodes in a week! Although I’ll be in Air Force training all week and won’t get to watch it for a while
November 13, 2019 at 10:51 am #120591Not just that @starbee but the anticipation sometimes makes it so much better. I miss the days of waiting for the new episode (sometimes)
We watched The Mandalorian, Return to OZ (just as creepy now as it was when I was a kid) and fell asleep to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. So I’m having a pretty great morning.
