Date-based ticket price

I’m a bit confused by this. So if I come for 5 days and only want three days, do I have to choose which days I want to go? Like I can’t say, okay today we were going to Epcot, but the weather is crummy so we’ll go to DS and go to Epcot tomorrow. I wouldn’t be able to do that because I bought my ticket for that “day”? I don’t like that at all…..

3-Day Ticket Any 3 days within 5 days beginning on the start date
4-Day Ticket Any 4 days within 7 days beginning on the start date
5-Day Ticket Any 5 days within 8 days beginning on the start date
6-Day Ticket Any 6 days within 9 days beginning on the start date
7-Day Ticket Any 7 days within 10 days beginning on the start date
8-Day Ticket Any 8 days within 12 days beginning on the start date
9-Day Ticket Any 9 days within 13 days beginning on the start date
10-Day Ticket Any 10 days within 14 days beginning on the start date

So it looks like you have a range of time to use them. So to answer Sarah’s question, as long as it’s not the last day of your “range”, yes, you could switch it up. I agree with DisLuvrKAli, I’m sure the site will crash hard on the 16th.

Oh the sad, sad truth!

All the ticket manipulation they are going through is because of capacity and daily. The one year I went to DLR at Christmas, Disneyland was at capacity by noon.

The parks are full, so they are trying to build disincentives in certain ways to visit. This is the annual pass holders and the daily ticket people. The parks have become a multiple day vacation venue. They make more money if youre in the parks for many days.

today isn’t it 14 days from the day you activate it? so if you buy a 2 day or a 10 day you have 14 days from the day you first use it…
i miss the no expiration. i wish we would have bought a ton of those before they stopped selling them.

Maybe I’m in the minority here but all I hear or see is complaining about every change Disney makes. Does it suck that prices go up? Yup. Does it suck that we get less for our money? Yup. But hey we all have the choice to go or not go. The same thing is happeneing at grocery stores, department stores, etc, etc! Society is demanding to get paid so much per hour that it’s putting compainies in quite a perdiciment. Why pay a kid $15 – $20 an hour when a machine can do it for far less, show up , everyday , not complain, and not be rude! I mean if you really weigh out what Disney gives you for $100 a day or even $120 a day you need to be insane to complain. I chalenge you to find another place that rivals the amount of entertainment, transportation, etc that Disney provides on a daily basis. And as far as these new ticket structures go is it really going to affect anyone? I mean buy your ticket the day you get there or a length of stay pass. Or just don’t go! That would really help the over crowding.
