D-COT Daily Disney Question #49 :minniebow:

The Hall of Presidents: Do you think this attraction should stay? or replace it with something else?
    A: Keep It
    B: Replace It

I personally would like to see it at least updated with something different… it is OK and a nice place to take a long break off of my feet, but it is very boring (IMO).

A: Keep it… It is weird for me to say, since I haven’t set foot in it in about 23 years, but… I am all for clinging onto whatever we have left of the “old Disney”. I have a friend who has to see it every trip. The HoP is to him what the TTA or LwtL is to me… it may not be the most exciting, not the most popular, but it is beloved and part of Disney history. It is the reason for someone, somewhere (actually probably many someones) to go back and relive the happiness.

Keep it. It’s part of the Disney heritage and a reminder of Walt’s vision of what he wanted the parks to be. Disney is destroying EPCOT’s heritage; don’t take this one too.

Oh no I’m a little behind. Thanks Graduation :goofy:

47 – Restaurantosaurus all the way! Love the theming!!!
48 – Kakigori from Japan!!!!
49 – I would keep it. It’s a salute to America’s leaders. And it has deep roots in history, both American and Disney. ALTHOUGH I would change it up a bit so the animatronics move a bit more. You have these high tech animatronics that serve their term and then they just stand around and nod afterward. It’s animatronic potential being wasted. You have the ability to move, why not use it?

#49 – Keep it! I remember seeing that when I was a kid. Like @RIDisneyPinGuy said… ” it may not be the most exciting, not the most popular, but it is beloved and part of Disney history.”

Disney Question No. 45 – the back! :woodyhat:

Disney Question No. 46 – can I pick Artist Point, pre-Storybook Dining? If not I have to say Whispering Canyon by default because I haven’t dined at any of the others

Disney Question No. 47 – Tusker House and Yak & Yeti are must-dos on our trip! We usually do a QS for lunch and TS for dinner. For QS we usually pick Restaurantosaurus or Pizzafari. We were disappointed with Satu’li Canteen but I’d like a do-over. I feel like I should try Flame Tree but coming from Oklahoma, barbecue is the last thing I pick while on vacation in Florida!

Disney Question No. 48 – favorite Epcot snack is SO hard!!!! It’s cliche, but I’m going to go with the school bread

Disney Question No. 49 – I say keep it. It could be more modern and updated as others have said, but I think it’s important to keep it. It’s a nod and tribute to Walt when those are dying out, it’s a classic and an original, plus it’s our history and I think we should preserve that

#49 – A – Keep it. Easy choice, mostly for the reasons mentioned above.

48 – I always love good Mickey Pretzel. I know they aren’t exclusive to Epcot, but it really is my favorite snack

49 – I would say keep it until they have something much better to put in its place. I think it needs something else. Maybe a wax museum instead? I think it needs to stay with the theme of course, it is Liberty Square after all. Maybe something like the signing of the Declaration, or maybe some of the greater speeches. I think it’s an attraction that leaves a lot of people uninterested. One and done kind of thing.
