@dngnb8 I see what you did with “realpoo”. Nice! We provide towels for all our guests and you may notice the shower is already graced with Disney’s H2O realpoo and shower gel
July 12, 2021 at 12:51 pm #149821Well pals, I done stepped in it this past Saturday – literally. Just push mowing part of my yard. Minding my own business, but ran over a yellow jacket nest. Boy were they cheesed! 11 stings: 1 on my left forearm, 3 on my lower right leg, and 7 on my lower left leg. Good thing I’m not allergic! Still the pain and irritations kept we awake all through Saturday night. Sunday night, I terminated the nest with extreme prejudice (gasoline and flame). The irritation had finally subsided by then so I slept well knowing there were 1,000-3,000 less yellow jackets in the world. Those things sure bring out the sith in me
July 12, 2021 at 1:15 pm #149822Oh my gosh!!! I am so sorry to hear that! That sounds so painful! Very glad you’re not allergic. I’m not surprised it brings out the Sith in you! I think that’s perfectly justified. I like your “extreme prejudice” method, that is my brother’s also. We constantly had wasps nests in our storage shed in the backyard growing up. A year or so ago my brother took a vacation and came back to find them nesting in the door of his car! I hope you’re recovering well.
I will say your post reminded me of this:

Not there today, there tomorrow! And the yellow jackets burrow in the ground so you don’t know the nest is there until it’s too late! that gif was me! Funny danced/ran to the door of my house yelling expletives which just turned to AHHH!!! AHHH!!! AHHH!!!…They had me pegged too! My wife and I could smell the targeting pheromones when I got inside.
July 12, 2021 at 2:10 pm #149824Dude! I’m so sorry! I did that at mom’s a few years ago, mowing behind the garage. Ran over a nest I never knew was there, until they started chasing me! Literally, chasing me! The stuff you see in the cartoons! Several stings in the ankle area, some on the arms and wrists. We did the same thing…..gasoline. DIE vermin from hell! Go back to satan where you belong!
P.S. Sorry about poisoning a small patch of you, mother Earth, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.July 12, 2021 at 2:39 pm #149825Oh my gosh! That’s the thing about wasps. Not there today, there tomorrow!
Exactly!!! Takes them all of 5 minutes to make a nest. Yeah you’ll never find a yellow jacket nest until you do. PURE EVIL! Why they gotta be like that?
@Nascfan you do have to sometimes! Why do these things exist?!July 12, 2021 at 2:42 pm #149826They truly are the spawn of hell.

Absolutely! Along with the mosquito. What is their purpose?! Seriously. I need to know because I think they’re pure terrorists.
Also, geese are the devil’s minions I swear.
July 12, 2021 at 2:59 pm #149828Everything you speak is the truth! Although without mosquitos we would never have had Jurassic Park so there’s that…

Can’t argue with you there!!!!
July 12, 2021 at 3:47 pm #149830Apparently yellow jackets eat certain parasites, but often it seems they are the parasites. I wish I could Infinity gauntlet snap them.
@nascfan – Yeah your argument for mosquitos is compelling! Fortunately there’s not too many where I live. Not enough standing water for them to breed in!July 12, 2021 at 4:23 pm #149831I wish I could Infinity gauntlet snap them.

Lucky!!! I swear they’re a mutant breed here. They’ve bitten me through my clothes more than once!
