I’ve been by there a couple of times, but I’ve never eaten in there.

August 15, 2018 at 6:50 pm #85769For the money, it is pretty good… we eat there every trip…. the pot roast is awesome and the last time we were there (2 weeks ago) I got the fried chicken.
Also, if you get a “good” server, you will be very entertained. Give it a go!
August 16, 2018 at 7:19 am #8579050’s Prime Time is one of my favorite places to eat in all of Disney World. They have the best fried chicken and if you have ever wondered about the peanut butter and jelly milkshake you should. It is amazing. Hint* you do not need reservations. Find a seat at the bar. We have stopped in just to buy the milkshakes to go.
September 30, 2018 at 2:18 pm #90228This is one of my favorites!
fun atmosphere and the food is some real good homestyle cooking. It’s also a lot of food for the price! The PB&J milkshake is a definite must while you’re there!

InactiveXPWe love this place! We like to try new restaurants every trip and this may not make the repeat every time but it is definitely a good one. Playful service, tasty food, and a fun atmosphere make this a reliable choice!
November 8, 2018 at 2:14 pm #94145We really like this place! Can’t wait to go there in 3 weeks!

November 28, 2018 at 1:23 pm #95911I hadn’t been back there in years and went last May…I was sooooo surprised by how good it was. We had the blue plate special, lamb shank at the time, and it was out of this world. Topped off with that dreamy PB&J shake!!!!

April 27, 2019 at 10:03 am #108536The first time my family tried this place, we had THE best experience you could possibly have, and it set the bar so high that we have never been able to duplicate it. Every time we’ve gone back we have been sorely disappointed in our server. I don’t know what it is about us, but no matter how hard we try to joke with the server or show that we are really interested in playing along we NEVER get a server that is willing to accommodate us in the least! I even tell the hostess up front to please give us a willing server and add that I have “newbies” with me and nope, zip, nadda. It’s to the point where in spite of it having some of the best food on property, I just give up and don’t want to go back. That first time there were so many antics going on that we just were in awe and sat there and laughed and laughed. I’ve wondered if like Whispering Canyon, they aren’t allowed to play any longer, but it’s not the case because we sit and watch most of the other tables having a ball with their server. We watched one teenage girl get punished by being slid across the room in her chair to another table of people and told, “There! That’s your new family!”
And she sat there pretty much for the rest of the time lol. I kept thinking, when’s this kid going to go back? Maybe she thought she really had to stay?
I think it should be a requirement that the staff has to take a class and participate. It seems like the more open we try to be, the more resistant our servers are. We’ve even had servers that just don’t seem to get it and they think playing along is telling our kids that they don’t have to listen to their parents and they can have desert no matter what we say etc….um…no, that’s not how this works. It’s not about telling our kids to show their butts, it’s about playing like family and no elbows on the table, chew with your mouth shut, clean your plate and all that jazz. I just really wish they would monitor their staff and make sure that everyone’s experience is the same. Most of the time my server is just a server. No speil no nothing. Very hit or miss and I would say I’ve missed on about 8 out of 10 times.
April 27, 2019 at 10:21 am #108539@disneydana when was the first time you ate there? i’ve noticed the whole “show” has been really turned down from what it used to be too. my theory is that overly-sensitive people probably complained, and disney listened to them. when we went in 2017, my dad even asked our waitress if they stopped doing the antics or something, but she said no, the staff still does it, they just have an option wether they want to do it or not.
actually, now that i’m thinking about it, when we went in 2017, i didn’t finish my green beans so our waitress brought it back out with whipped cream and m&ms on top and said it was my dessert!
i guess it just depends who your server is
April 27, 2019 at 3:11 pm #108555@julia That’s hysterical!
Yes I find it really hit or miss now which is super disappointing
we went a few times over the years and it was always hilarious, but then on my last trip in 2017 I took my husband for the first time and we had no interaction whatsoever. In fact, the server was just absent, period. They were super busy but still, other servers were being entertaining with other tables. We had to flag our server down to get him to take our order and flag him down again to get our check. He never refilled our drinks either. Bad experience all around. But that’s not to say I won’t go back, I actually have an ADR for 50’s Prime Time for my next trip this October. When you’ve been as many times as I have, I feel like it’s impossible not to have a bad experience here and there.
