Category: Favorite Snack

Disney has a fantastic selection of snacks. :mbar: :churro: :dole: :cupcake:  Let’s see what they came up with.

Favorite Snack: Dole Whip

Yep, we can get on board with a Dole Whip. It doesn’t matter what time of day or if it’s hot or cold. This snack is always a great choice!

Our Runners-Up

Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Sandwich
Churro :churro:
Cream Cheese Stuffed Mickey Pretzel

Category: Favorite Seasonal Event

We don’t know which seasonal events they had in the hat for this. We figure they had their newer offerings like Disney After Hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney Villians After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney H2O Glow Night in the mix.

Favorite Event: MNSSHP

Agree! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is such a treat for not only the little ones. People of all ages enjoy dressing up and trick-or-treating through the Magic Kingdom.

Our Runners-up

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
Disney’s H2O Glow Night

Category: Favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotel

Favorite Resort: Polynesian

We disagree with the panel on this one. Our favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. It’s a beautiful resort with a massive lobby. The decor reflects the rustic majesty of America’s Great Northwest. Inside, discover towering totem poles, headdresses and more, and enjoy the rustic elegance of the stone hearth and roaring fireplace. Another great perk is that you’re close to the Magic Kingdom!

Our Runners-up

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

Category: Favorite Attraction to Enjoy with a Preschooler

We thought this was an interesting category, “with a Preschooler”. Nonetheless!

Favorite Attraction: Peter Pan

Agree. But, there are so many attractions at Walt Disney World. How can you pick just one?! Peter Pan’s Flight is a classic ride and there’s a reason why the queue is always the longest for this Fantasyland attraction. Where else can you go on a high-flying adventure over iconic scenes from the movie? Oh, and in a pirate ship too!

Our Runners-up

Pirates of the Caribbean
Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Category: Favorite Disney Springs Activity

We feel like the only things in the hat for this category was shopping or dining. You could also enjoy activities like the Amphicar Tours at The BOATHOUSE® or build your own LEGO minifigure. What would that be considered though? Ah well, let’s see what won!

Favorite Disney Springs Activity: Dining

Agree. While there is so much to do at Disney Springs, dining is definitely our favorite thing to do. What’s your favorite restaurant there?

Our Runners-up

Shopping 👜

  1. I’m definitely on board with the favorite snack  :dole:
Having been to MNSSHP and MVMCP, I’d pick MNSSHP by a pretty good margin, but I enjoyed them both a lot! :treats:
Favorite Resort, I’d have Polynesian at 4th place with Beach Club at 3rd. Wilderness Lodge and AKL, I have trouble choosing between them for 1st or 2nd. I love them both so much! Having stayed at Grand Floridian, it’s pretty close to the bottom of my list, not that it was particularly terrible. It just didn’t fit my personal tastes very well.
Favorite attraction with a pre-schooler: Agree. Peter Pan’s Flight! :tink:
Favorite Disney Springs Activity: it’s a toss-up between the shopping and the dining. :D

  2. I actually agree with all the panel’s choices here LOL While Peter Pan is not the best attraction, it would probably get the best reaction from a toddler because you’re actually flying, a toddler would lose its mind at that. Now if it were best attraction that toddlers can ride, it would be Pooh :pooh:

  3. Dole whip is awesome, I am just not sure I can nail down one single favorite Disney park snack LOL as there is just something about the popcorn (and yes i know its pop secret, but it never tastes like that at home!) and I love all the floats too
Having been at Halloween and Christmas, I can’t decide which i like more. I am sure MNSSHP is a better bang for your buck since you can walk out of there with pounds of candy :)
While I do adore AK Lodge, the Poly really is fun, and has the added beach viewing of the MK fireworks
I think Dumbo would be best, to see their reactions. But i have no first-hand experience for that one….
But oh yes, Dining all the way. sooooooo much to eat and drink there now, and then you can shop a little to help digest ;)

  4. I completely agree with :dole: as the best snack. Having only been to MNSSHP I have to stick with that one. Now we are more partial to AKL, but we really like Wilderness Lodge too so i’m going to say AKL because of the Savanna. The best attraction for a preschooler would have to be Dumbo for us. Our Niece loves that ride. For Disney Springs it is definitely a toss-up between Shopping & Dining.

  5. I looked at this purely from a DL visitors standpoint and I agree with what applies (snack, ride, activity if it was downtown disney)
HOWEVER from a DL standpoint, Id say their best event is Food and Wine Festival cause it’s AMAZING.

  6. I have never stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, so I can’t pass judgement over my personal favorite which is Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I am surprised that watching a 4-D show with a toddler did not get an honorable mention. There is something magical watching a 4-D show with a toddler for the very first time. But Peter Pan’s Flight rightfully deserves the top spot. It is always great…even after the 100th.

  7. Favorite Snack; Mickey premium Ice Cream – I’m more of a milk person then fruit or I would go with the whips.
Favorite Seasonal Event: Not sure I would call it an event but the Lights Overlay at Christmas would be my favorite
Favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotel: Wilderness Lodge is our fave as well.
Favorite Attraction to Enjoy with a Preschooler: Who needs a preschooler! This is one of my faves period!
Favorite Disney Springs Activity; For me it is grazing all the food places.
