Star Wars

With Star Wars Galaxy Edge coming to Hollywood Studios and Disneyland, WDW plans to totally immerse one in the complete story by opening a new resort with the Star Wars Theme. Both lands will open in 2019. The resort is being called 100% immersive and will touch every moment of your stay.

Tron

Scheduled for 2021 and the 50th anniversary celebration. This is the most popular ride in Shanghai. An E ticket roller coaster in the style of motorcycles and based on the movie TRON. Hang ON!!!!!

Epcot

Ratatouille Schedule for France, similar to the ride in DL Paris and a new E Ticket GotG attraction as well. Not much mentioned in details, schedule for 2021. It seems that Starlord (Chris Pratt) visited EPCOT as a kid and loved the park. Seems natural that Starlord would land at EPCOT.

Magic Kingdom

A new theater based on the Kansas City Willis Theater of the 1920’s to host new shows.

New Transportation

We have all seen the Minnie Coopers already, how about the Disney Skyliner! Connecting several of the All Star Resorts, HS and the Gateway at EPCOT.

How about the newly announced Disney Riviera Resort near EPCOT? Bonus: Guests staying at Riviera Resort will be able to reach Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot via the brand-new Disney Skyliner.

The Disney Cruise Fleet is growing!

No, Disney is not rolling out the Black Pearl, but two new ships are currently under construction, a third is planned as well, bringing the fleet’s total to seven ships! This will double the Fleet size.

WOW! So much going on. Pixar Pier, Pixar upgrade at HS, new ships, new rides, new hotels, new shows, new new new new new!!!!!!!!!!

  1. I still can’t quite picture in my mind where TRON is going but I am super excited about it! As soon as I saw a video on YouTube of the Shanghai attraction, I said I wished we had that at WDW and soon we will! After seeing the incredible way Disney created Flight of Passage, I think TRON will be epic!

    I still can’t believe after scrapping Magic Kingdom’s Skyway, Disney truly are building the Skyliner. It just seems like such a slow and outdated form of transportation to me. I had not heard about the Riviera resort so I guess I need to do some research!

  2. I’m suuuuper excited for Tron and the updates coming to Epcot including Ratatouille and Guardians of the Galaxy Ride.

    I’m not so thrilled about the Skyliner’s…. i can’t imagine being stuck in one of those during a thunder storm!!! :surprised:

    Although I’ve been reading lots of articles pointing to the cancellation of the Main Street theater. Its existence seems to have vanished from the interwebs
