Magic Behind the Music: Disney’s California Adventure – Hollywood Land – The Collector’s Warehouse ~ Area Music

Taneleer Tivan has an impressive collection, but there are 5 recent additions that just don’t belong, and guests of Disney’s California Adventure are recruited to ride in and help to break them out. A raccoon…or is it a rabbit? A fox? A trash panda? Well, whichever he is, Rocket is one of the misfits and manages to break out and asks you to drop in and help him free his other pals. He does most of the work and, as our favorite metaphor missing misfit Drax points out, everyone else just sits there. In any case, Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout has become a groot attraction for Disneyland guests since it opened on May 27, 2017. The attraction is a reimagining of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and is exclusive to Disney’s California Adventure.
Now you may be wondering, what do
guests get for saving the 2-time galaxy savers?
Well, since this is a Disney attraction, tradition would have it that
guests get to peruse the rest of the Tivan collection in (you guessed it) a
gift shop! That gift shop, called The Collector’s Warehouse, is where our
feature track originates. The track has been a part of the D-COT Jukebox since
October 17, 2018. Members, 15 of which have added it to their Favorites, and
aspiring collectors at Disney’s California Adventure are treated to a mix of
music from the Guardians of the Galaxy films that can only be described as “awesome.”
Speaking of awesome, the play count of this track is at 6,629 in its short run thus far on the Jukebox. D-COT Supporters have added it to 17 Custom playlists. It gets a 4.9/5 average rating with 29 votes. Those are some stats groot enough to make Star Lord proud and Gamora green with envy! Due to the popularity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe growing faster than Groot, Disney has long since begun construction on an enclosed roller coaster at Epcot in Walt Disney World that will be themed to the Guardians of the Galaxy as well. It will be a considerably large replacement for Ellen’s Energy Adventure which closed on August 13, 2017. The ride is slated to be one of the world’s longest enclosed roller coasters and will open in 2021.

We don’t talk about the tragic loss of Ellen
seriously though, I feel like I’m responsible for 6,000 of those play counts
I love this loop! Great for putting some pep in my step while working out or at the office

I’ll take Apologies for 500, Alex. What is Sorry for bring up the former beloved attraction?
If you’re responsible for 6,000, I’m sure I’m responsible for 600 of the remaining ones…wait for it…601.
