We’re planning to see the Movie on Dec 30th with friends. We’re not much for battling opening week crowds

And scarcely if ever do I find myself agreeing with movie critics

I’m so glad I don’t read or pay attention to critics’ reviews for basically, anything really, but certainly not a Star Wars movie! We plan to go see it Sunday morning. I almost never ever go to an opening weekend for anything but I’ll be darned if I’m going to let some non-D-cot friendly termed person ruin it and spill spoilers before I get to see it! I trust everyone here will be respectful and not post any spoilers.

I’m thinking about going Friday morning since I’m off work. Most likely I will not, though.

Going tmrw night and can’t wait. We usually are in Disney for the premieres so we are sorry to be missing that fun this year. But looking forward to seeing it!

We are going Saturday 12/21 at 5:00pm. I thought J.J. Abrams hit the ball out of the park with The Force Awakens. I felt as though The Last Jedi sort of went off track and now Abrams is left trying to pull it back together AND wrap the whole thing up. So, I am giving some grace to The Rise of Skywalker with hopes that it will be a fitting, honorable, and satisfying end to the Star Wars saga.

I don’t know what those critics were smoking…the movie was well done and closed out the saga in a satisfying way.
