New Kate Spade + Dole Whip Cocktails = One Happy Millennial!

On Friday, a brand new collection from Kate Spade and Disney Parks dropped at both Disneyland and Disney World! Disney and the New York fashion house aren’t strangers to each other, and with their latest parks-inspired line dropping in 2018, my little polka-dot loving heart almost can’t take it! While I loved last year’s collection, which featured giant tote bags and wristlets that had magically-inspired quotes sprayed across them, I think I prefer the newest collection. For starters, this year’s line also has more options than tote bags and wristlets, including wallets, satchels, and purses.

The newest products are also a bit more colorful, and the pattern features solid Mickey hats and polka dots!!!! Every accessory comes in the choice of two color schemes: pink or black. I personally prefer the black as the pink is a little too “Valentine’s Day,” for me. The bags and totes retail between $148 to $328, but you can snag a credit-card holder for $50. If this is out of your budget like it is mine, last year’s collection is on sale at shopdisney.com, although even that is still too much for a poor college student like me…

Froscato: Dole Whip Mimosa

In other news, two of God’s greatest creations have recently merged together for the first time: Dole Whip and cocktails! Yes, I know Dole Whip with rum exists, but to me, that’s not a cocktail. Anyway, you can now find Dole Whip mimosas, “froscatos,” and margaritas on Disney property! The Dole Whip mimosas and froscatos are available from Wine Bar George at Disney Springs. Don’t have a reservation? No need to fret! You can get them from The Basket by Wine Bar George, which is basically Wine Bar George’s quick service/walk-up window. The froscato is made up of vodka and moscato, while the mimosa swaps the vodka for prosecco. My mouth is literally watering at the thought of a boozy Dole Whip…

Lime Dole Whip Margarita

Not a fan of wine or vodka? That’s okay, because there’s also the lime Dole Whip margarita! This is what I’m most excited for, because let’s be real here, Dole Whip with tequila > Dole Whip with rum. The margarita is made with lime Dole Whip, which was first found in the Peter Pan float from Storybook Treats. You can find the lime Dole Whip margarita at the Polynesian’s pool bar, “Barefoot Pool Bar.” As much as I’m dying to try a Dole Whip margarita, I don’t think I’m staying at the Poly anytime soon – I have a deluxe resort loving heart, but only a value budget bank account.

So that’s it for today! Will you be buying anything from the new Kate Spade x Disney collection? And what are your thoughts on the new booze-tacular Dole Whip offerings? If you’re staying at the Polynesian and plan on trying the margarita, please think of me when you do! Or even send a cup to New Jersey. Thanks for reading!
