“Legend” doesn’t begin to describe this man.

Disney fans will best know him as both Mufasa (from The Lion King) and the voice of Darth Vader from the Star Wars franchise.

    He will be missed.

and as a baseball fan his monologue in Field Of Dream lives rent free in my head. The man could read the phone book and I’d hang on to every word. I remember on another forum long before Disney bought Lucas Films someone had a “You know you’re a Disney fan if…” thread. My contribution was “If you meet James Earl Jones and ask him to quote Mufasa rather than Darth Vader”

Rest In Peace James. You are greatly missed already

As a kid I enjoyed Field of Dreams with James Earl Jones he would get a dog and a beer to the game. Mufasa on the other hand will always be remembered of his nostalgic voice. He will be miss R.I.P James Earl Jones.

So many great movies and voice overs. Still cracks me up when I think about his appearance on Big Bang Theory when he’s ringing Carrie Fisher’s door bell with Sheldon.

    RIP Lord Vader
